Our little Ruby is growing up. She is one month old today. Seriously - when did that month happen? Both of my other kids grew fast but this last month has gone way faster than that. It seems like just yesterday that I was a million days over due waiting around for her to arrive. Sigh....

You have gained over a pound and grown 2 inches. You have learned to wiggle and love to snuggle with your family. You learned how to give a social smile on January 10th. It still takes all your effort and a good wiggle from every body part before you can figure out the right muscles for that smile but when you do smile, you are so beautiful.
You love to sleep on your tummy and you like it when your back is patted while someone hums songs to you. You usually go to bed around 9 pm and sleep for 4-5 hours before getting up to eat again. You don't like your car seat very much but it seems to be the optimum angle to encourage your bowel movements and you usually have one every time you are in the car seat. Your eyes are blue and your hair is still brown and soft. Your brother likes to hold you on his lap and call you Silly Ruby. Your sister likes to pretend talk for you to tell your mom and dad what you want.

SOOOO sweet! I can't believe that corilynn (soo sorry I am sure I butchered her beautiful name) pretend talks for her! Hysterical! Way to go mama!
These are cute! They look like what I would imagine you would look like as a baby. Love the cheeks.
What a darling post! I love the details...especially Lyman and Corilynn's reaction to her. And it looks like she is going to be a smartie too since her head size is higher in percentile than the rest of her body. :)
