Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for vacation days.  I love how the time space continuum seems to slow down during vacation enough to feel like you are getting to do a lot more together than you usually manage in a normal day.  And then somehow at the end of the vacation you wonder where all the time went.  Its a cool feeling.

I am also thankful to be back in CO our vacation visiting with great friends and family.  I didn't realize though how much the moist Ohio air really did wonders for my skin because CO wants to dry me into KaraLynne-Jerky.  Also how did a native Coloradoan like myself ever loose my ability to breath in this mountain air?  I have been at sea level much too long.  I took a few runs at the cabin up and down the trail to retrieve the zip swing for the kids and I was gasping on the way up the hill.  Where did CO decided to hide their oxygen?  I am glad though that my body seems to recognize it is home and has adapted relatively quickly because I went on a several mile speed walk today and managed to breath just fine.
