Happy Birthday Corilynn!

She is six.  A whole six years.  I cannot believe it and yet I can see it in her growth and maturity.  So what is Corilynn like at six? Corilynn at six loves to read, read, read. She loves anything pink and with frills.  She loves princesses and loves school (even if she is a bit aloof there still).  She is often distracted by anything in print and if we need her to pay attention to something (ie her dinner) we need to make sure there is nothing she can read within reach of her.   She is tender-hearted and sensitive.  She always has the gentle or love related answer to questions at FHE or other things we talk about in the family.  She is considered the peacemaker in the family because she is always willing to do what makes others happy.

 Corilynn and Andy went to the Nutcracker again this year in what is beginning to be a tradtion.  Good thing Andy doesn't mind dates with his girls since he will have three.  Ruby is excited for when she is big enough to go with Corilynn and Dad.  We wanted to wait until she was at least 4 or 5 so that she could appreciate it and enjoy it.

 We got her a poofy skirt for her birthday.  She was thrilled and wanted to wear it everyday.  Ruby was jealous beyond reason and cried a lot in wanting it.  (sigh: this is our future when they are teenagers)  My little mommy heart wanted to give her a birthday gift early (she got one too) but Andy wouldnt let me.  Meany.
