Thankful Thursday

Today has to be about how grateful I am NOT to be pregnant. Sheesh, our lives were just on hold for the past 18 months that we have been in Ohio. With two pregnancies back to back - nothing was done on the house to make it our own as far as decorations or renovations. Now that I am not pregnant I have energy and motivation to fix up the house the way I like it and not the way it was when we moved in. I feel like we have been living in the previous owner's house with the same window treatments and our own old shaggy stuff. In the past month we have overhauled the decor in two bathrooms including new linens, hardware, faucets and wall art. We have also actually added decor to the walls of our bedroom and the guest bedroom and got our first headboard. Ive got pictures building of before and after - I will post soon when we have a few more things hung up. I am so thankful that I am not pregnant and useless anymore!

I had this thought as I was driving down a familiar stretch of road near our house that we drive down at least 3 times a week. This part of the road is a bit bumpy and needs to be redone but I thought about it as our car bumped along down the road how every day we drove on this part of the road when I was pregnant I would feel sick to my stomach because of the jerking around. Today - no sickness! The sun is shinning, colors are vivid and life is getting back to normal! Yahoo!
