School Bus Love

Yesterday Lyman came off the bus with a ginormous grin on his face and immediately turned and looked out the window at the bus driving away.  When he turned around again he was laughing.  I asked him what he was so happy about.  He said he got to sit next to a girl on the bus - Lela.  I asked him about her - was she his friend, did he like her etc.  He said she was poking his hair on the bus and that it was funny.  He said she was cute and that he "kinda" liked her.  He told me that she asked the bus driver nicely if she could sit with him since they usually have different assigned seats.  He has talked about her before and so I knew he sort of liked her.  I asked what she looked like and he decided he would draw me a picture.  It had a remarkable resemblance to Napoleon Dynamite's drawing of his date to the dance.  So I told him he should give the picture to her.  He blushed and said no.  I told him girls like it when boys draw pictures for them.  He blushed again and said this picture was just for me.

I'm "kinda" glad that although there are girls that catch his eye, I'm still the only girl for him and the only one he draws pictures for.
