Chocolate Treat for the Potty

WARNING: This blog is not for the faint in stomach, or the pre-mothers who don't know yet that when your child poops, how often and where is an fundamental part of a mother's life and that mothers cant help but talk about it like it was the weather.

Many times I have blogged my frustrations about Corilynn still having issues with going Poop in the potty even though we started potty training her 3 months ago. I am happy to announce a small improvement in the last day or so in this department.

Number 1: She tells us frequently now when she needs to go and sometimes goes on her own "all by myself" as she puts it. YEAH! She likes to say she is giving the potty a drink of yellow water. Cute I think.

Number 2: The area where I usually want to pull my hair out with her- She told me TWICE today that she needed to go potty. The first time she didn't quite make it in time but the second time she told me and we rushed to the potty where she proudly gave the potty "a chocolate treat". I don't care what motivates her or what she calls it- if it works - GREAT! I know it is only one time of success but this is the most success we have seen at all with her! Hopefully she is turning a corner.

Why is it that my mood daily as a mother can often be turned on a nickle depending on my children's bowel movements?

You are not alone in the mood change. Isn't it funny we moms like and to talk about?

I hear you on the mood thing. The littlest thing can throw the whole day if I'm not careful!

I love your new background on your blg. Very classy!
