Vacation Bananza!

First off - thank you all for you encouragement and words of advice regarding my last post. You know sometimes you just have to scream a little and you can feel better and try again.

Well tomorrow starts a whirlwind of vacations that I am going on in the next two months. I think it will make the next couple of months go quickly and that will be nice.

The first is a trip to Colorado tomorrow - by myself - without the kids- alone - just one ticket- kids and hubby are staying behind - how many more ways can I say it? Anyway I am excited to be attending one of my good friends from childhood's wedding. I am even a bridesmaid! Yippee! Too bad Ill be the only bridesmaid who will look like a clown in my dress. I am only gone the weekend and it should be really fun. I am renting a car and this time I am the driver on it - Andrew usually is the driver if we ever rent and so this sort of is my first time to be the adult big kid and so that's kind of exciting for me. Hope I don't crash. Andrew is home with the kids and he was going to be by himself which would have made me write that we should all pray for him but a few weeks ago we found out a lovely surprise - his brother and sister in law - Jared and Kristen are coming to visit - cousins included! He should have some help now and the weekend is going to be so fun for the kids to get to see their cousins - they haven't stopped talking about it for weeks.

Next trip is only in a few weeks and it is a family trip to Utah to visit family and friends. This one will be really nice to do because we haven't seen some of our best friends in soooo long. We are spending just over a week and that seems like such a long time but we are sure it will go by way to quickly.

Just a month after that in the end of June we are going to go to Disney World as a family as well. This will be our first vacation that we have ever taken that wasn't to visit family or friends and usually for some kind of event or holiday. None of us have been there so we are really looking forward to getting to experience the land where "dreams come true." Corilynn wants to see Tinkerbell and Lyman is excited for Lightning McQueen. My nephew, Micah, is coming to help out with the kids so that we can go on some rides as well.

Anyway more on these last two vacations closer to the date!

Well I better go now - I have some fridge stocking to do for Andrew - packing and another load of last minute laundry. Toodle-loo!

Hey, I'll bet we can arrange for a party at the Brymers while you are here. I would LOVE to see you guys. Oh btw I have been thinking about those potatoes that you made for your birthday way back when you lived in the brown house. They were South African I think. Man, I wish I knew how to make those....
