So many of you know that I have been in the process of potty training Corilynn for a few weeks now. She has done really well with it and stays dry all day most days. However she still has problems not telling me when she needs to go poo and so we were trying to figure that out with her. We've tried all kinds of rewards and tricks etc and we are making progress. Just today she told me she needed to go poo... wait for it.... BEFORE she went. I ran her to the potty nearest and it was occupied by a little 4 yr old boy who shall remain nameless and so I had to sprint her upstairs to the other bathroom where we just made it. But I was soooo proud of her for telling me. A few days ago though I thought I would look online to see if I could find some kind of cartoon you know with elmo or something talking about going on the potty. I figured she might be motivated by it or something. I found this video about it. It is a Japanese video on potty training and even though it is in Japanese you still get the point and I laughed so hard watching it. Enjoy.
Stay tuned, I have plans to post another blog later in the day. I am working on one defining some of the funny letter/word combos we have to type in to make comments on eachother's blogs. You're vocabulary will thank you later when you can use these newly computer generated words in your everyday speech.

We've always used this elmo game/story. We always say "press any button to make Sophia go potty" when we can tell she's gotta go. They think it's hilarious.
